PHARMACEUTICS LAB

Objective

In the pharmaceutics labs the students can learn how to formulate Tablets, Capsules, Injectables, Suppositories and Novel Drug Delivery Systems etc. They can also learn the evaluation techniques of various formulations.

PHARMACOLOGY LAB

Objective

In the Department of Pharmacology at Technocrats Institute of Technology- Pharmacy will provide an opportunity for the students to learn about the drugs with regard to classification, Pharmacodynamics and Pharmacokinetics. The students can learn about drug effects on living things such as tissues, organs and animals. Here we can screen the new drugs for their pharmacological activity.

PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY LAB

Objective

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Technocrats Institute of Technology- Pharmacy is designed to learn about the basic principles of organic and medicinal chemistry and to implement in the synthesis of drugs

PHARMACOGNOSY LAB

Objective

The Department of Pharmacognosy at Technocrats Institute of Technology- Pharmacy is designed to lean about the therapeutically important crude drugs and phytopharmaceuticals under a suitable phamacognostic scheme and the plant tissue culture in pharmacy. Also to make the student aware of biologically important molecules fom marine sources and neutraceuticals.
