Intake & Admission Procedure

BACHELOR OF PHARMACY (B. PHARM)

Total Seats: 100

Eligibility:

All those candidates who have passed qualifying exam from Board of Secondary Education Madhya Pradesh OR equivalent along with norms decided by Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh.

All those candidates who have passed Diploma Pharmacy from Madhya Pradesh OR other states along with norms decided by Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh. Diploma Pharmacy students can directly take admission into B. Pharm 2nd Year (3rd Semester).

Application Procedure:

In case the decision to conduct online off campus counseling for a particular course is taken by the State Government, then the competent authority declared by the State Government for this purpose, shall finalize the detailed programme and shall make it available on its website declaring its procedure, process of admission and deferent cut off dates. Procedure of Online Off Campus Counselling will be followed as per the regulation published in MP Government Gazette dated 31st July, 2009 (As amended) for Online Off Campus Counselling.

Fee structure:

The fee structure to UG program is as per the fee regulatory committee of Madhya Pradesh State.

Fees: As per Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) Recommendation.

Scholarships:

Large number of merit and other scholarships and fee concessions under various categories are available for admitted students.

RESERVATION POLICY:

The seat shall be reserved as per the reservation policy of State Government and Affiliated University: Schedule Caste (SC) – 16%, Schedule Tribes (ST) – 20%, socially and other Backward Classes – 14%

SUPERNUMERARY SEATS:

Tuition Fees Waiver Scheme (TFWS) – 5%, Economic Weaker Section (EWS) – 10%

MASTER OF PHARMACY (M. PHARM)
Discipline:
  • Pharmaceutics: 15 Seats
  • Pharmacology: 15 Seats
Eligibility:

As per the Pharmacy council of India (PCI), Minimum qualification for admission to M.Pharm programme is:

B.Pharm degree examination of an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years of B.Pharm). For SC/ST candidates the prescribed percentage of marks will be 50% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years of B.Pharm). Every student, selected for admission to post graduate pharmacy course in any of the pharmacy institution in the country should have obtained Registration with the state Pharmacy council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
